At the beginning of this month, Samsung launched its all-new Galaxy F lineup with the budget Galaxy F41 smartphone in India. The all-new lineup is restricted to Flipkart only, which is a famous e-commerce outlet in the country.
The series inclines to be targeted more on the camera department. Samsung already has three budget and mid-range series known as Galaxy M, Galaxy A, and the recently included Galaxy F. After the launch of Galaxy F41 in India, Samsung is currently intending to bring a new smartphone to the lineup called Galaxy F12 or F12s.
A recently emerging report has revealed that, Samsung is presently operating on a new device that holds the model number SM-F127G. Evaluating the company’s prior naming strategy, one can easily deduce that the device will come with the moniker Galaxy F12 or F12s. But it is still uncertain what to expect from this device, is it possible that the Galaxy F12 or F12s be a rebranded Galaxy M smartphone? We will find out more about this with time.
In case you are oblivious to this, the F41 is just a rebranded Galaxy M31. And considering this fact, the upcoming Galaxy F12 or F12s might just be the rebranded M21. But we never can tell, since this remains an assumption. It might be a rebranded M21 or not.
Since this is initial progress, there is no clearer information about the smartphone except for the model number. More information is expected to come up on the internet in the coming weeks or months. In terms of the price bracket, the device is more likely to fall under the entry-level segment especially since the F41 is a budget device.
Although the Galaxy F lineup already has a single device and the brand has intentions to add one more, it looks like Samsung will add more Galaxy F devices in the months to come. The smartphone company has already launched a surfeit of devices under the two Galaxy M and Galaxy A lineup alone every single year. The all-new Galaxy F series might also get these kind of treatment from the South Korean giant. If that is a possibility, it means that we should expect even more smartphones from the company in the coming year.
Asides Galaxy F12 or F12s, Samsung is also reportedly working on its next-gen flagship Galaxy S21 lineup which will officially be launched in the month of January.
