The Nigeria Governors Forum has warned that a state of affairs in Borno State could consume the nation if nothing was accomplished within the state to set aside the tide of attacks by Boko Haram insurgents.
Chairman of NGF, Drs. Kayode Fayemi, who headed three different governors; Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Abubakar Bagudu (Kebbi), and Simon Lalong (Plateau) issued this warning in Madurai on Wednesday, on a visit by the Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulm.
Femi donated N100m on behalf of the Federation’s 36 governors to help the federal government and the people of Borno State in their effort to rebuild the state.
He mentioned, ‘If we do not blow the tide of the issue that we are seeing here, it can eat our entire nation.
