It seems like one of Arsenal’s every switch windows has a detailed description with athletic reporting that Lucas Torreira is “closed” to a loan to Atletico Madrid. The deal would give Atleti a possibility, not an obligation, to buy at the last of the load.
Clearly, Arsenal would like an obligation, although Wanda is cashing in on Metropolitano, as Arsenal refused to accept the admission of Pay Thomas Partey’s full launch clause. Parte is not anticipated to be concerned within the deal in any approach.
Despite reaching much fanfare and high expectations, Torreira has not panned Emirates. Unai Emery positioned him on the far right pitch, and Mikel Arteta does not value his on-ball ability. Going out on loan to get the first workforce minutes may be the biggest at this point. Diego Simeon has satisfied Uruguayan that he will be a big part of the setup at Atleti, and I believe that Torrera’s abilities match well with how Simeon wants to play.
For what value, Athletic experiences that Torreira is happy Arsenal has “recognized her needs” to enjoy the extra time. Torreya aspires to play and gives him the opportunity to enhance his ability and rehab to benefit the Gunners in the long term. We regularly hear “Arsenal not promoting well” – this (Torreira, later summer time) is an opportunity for him to pursue that development, especially if he has a season in Spain.
The club is due to close until the switch window closes on Monday, October 5.
