The Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum (SMBLF) has condemned President Muhammadu Buhari’s opposition to the reorganization of Nigeria.
In an announcement on Monday, the body warned its spokesperson Garba Shehu “without a word of mouth and warning” to organizations and people to take decisions. It was co-signed by Yinka Odumakin (Southwest), Gai Ikovu (South East), Isuva Dogo (Center Belt), and Bassi Henshaw (South-South).
SMBLF is famous that Shehu’s response additionally to the head of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E. a. There was an attack on Adeboye, who warned federal authorities to restructure the nation to prevent a breakdown.
It said, as an aide to the president, “that the recurring movement that seemed like a spokesman for the Pharaoh in historic Egypt’s Garba was inconsistently inflammatory.”
The SMBLF expressed apprehension that Nigerians are being talked about in a very strident language for the presidency, as an alternative to assurances about rebuilding the nation towards inclusiveness.
‘We want to make it clear for governance that it cannot cow us using a cantonment method for nationwide points. We will not turn to second class residents on our land, not even with threats of arrest or murder.
‘Should we clap for the federal government and never speak up when Customs appoints eight Deputy Comptrollers from one bit of the country? When DSS recruit 535 cadets from Northwest and North East and 93 from South and North Central as a whole, are we expected to execute effectively?
‘When we were clarifying the establishment of PENCOM on establishing succession at the Administrator level, do we want to be silent, you want anyone from the North East to move the DG out of the South East to anyone from the North East Can prepare’.
If Garba Shehu is not challenged literally, they should know that these callings for restructuring are extra patriotic than in operating Nigeria, patriotism is the company of Nigeria for all and never the sectarian idea of Nigeria by nepotists Not for
‘We will not succumb to their narrow view of Nigeria, fully confident that this too will come to go. Due to this fact, now allow us to restructure and from the traces of transplantation imposed by patriots at home and abroad Step back. ‘
