The Nigeria Football Federation has appointed Mr. Randy Waldrum as the new head coach of the Senior Ladies National Team.
Waldrum, an American who performed as a midfielder, worked extensively in American women football circles, and between 2014 and 2016 was one of the head coaches of the nationwide workforce of Trinidad as well as Tobago.
He will work alongside former Tremendous Falcons goalkeeper and captain Ann Cheijine, who is the primary assistant coach, while Wemimo Mathew Olanrewaju will serve as the second assistant coach and Auwar Bashir Makwalla will be the goalkeeper’s coach.
The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick, thanked the execs of Philips Consulting, the recruitment processes, and mentioned that they are confident and believe that the new technical crew will take the Eagles to some brand new heights.
‘The dominance of the Giant Falcons on the African continent makes no sense, with 9 titles out of 11 editions of the girls AFCON competitions held so far. We envision a new tremendous Falcon squad competing favorably for the Laurels on the world stage. Do, and I think the brand new technical teams led by Mr. Waldrum can take us to that stage. ‘
